Changming Group Conducts 2023 New Employee Onboarding Training

As June arrives with the summer solstice, we’re not just welcoming the arrival of summer—along with it come 36 new employees joining us at Changming Group. To help these newcomers quickly and effectively familiarize themselves with the group, adapt to their roles, understand our policies, and get fully up to speed, Changming Group organized the fifth round of its 2023 New Employee Onboarding Training on June 22nd. Thirty-three employees from various divisions—including Hengxi Factory, Datian Factory, Shoujiang Factory, Combination Cap Factory, Pulp Paper Factory, Guangheng Zinc Industry, and the Group Office—gathered together in the conference room on the fourth floor of the Hengxi office building for intensive training and interactive discussions. Meanwhile, the newly hired staff from Hongda Building Materials participated in their training right at the factory premises. This session was originally scheduled for 45 new employees, but 44 ultimately attended.
Focus on learning, with professional guidance. Leaders from the group company delivered an inspiring speech during the training session. This training session was structured into three main parts: First, a PPT presentation was used to provide participants with a comprehensive overview of the company’s overall operations, followed by a detailed introduction to the Group Company’s 20th National Congress-issued prohibitions, fire and explosion prevention protocols, and employee hygiene guidelines—key company policies designed to reinforce safe production practices. Participants then watched case study videos to deepen their understanding of the importance of adhering to safety regulations. Next, a hands-on fire extinguisher training exercise was conducted in the open area in front of the factory canteen. The factory is our shared home, and maintaining its safety depends on everyone’s active participation. In emergency situations, self-rescue is often the only way to survive. Therefore, ensuring workplace safety requires the collective effort of all employees. The second part involved unit leaders delivering lectures to new employees, covering essential topics such as each department’s basic information, production process flows, safe operation procedures, and real-life examples of production accidents—along with critical precautions to avoid potential risks. This segment aimed to strengthen new hires’ grasp of company rules and procedures, laying a solid foundation for implementing safety measures and enhancing overall production quality. Finally, a comprehensive exam was administered to all participants. Out of the 44 employees who took the test, all 44 passed, achieving a perfect 100% pass rate. This marked the successful conclusion of the new employee training program.
Without rules and standards, it's difficult to achieve perfection. Over the past 54 years of development, the company has established a highly effective management system. During the training sessions, new employees have been immersed in a positive learning environment, gaining a solid understanding of both the group company and its corporate culture. Meanwhile, the instructors—factory managers and teachers—are continuously refining their teaching methods, helping new staff members quickly master production processes, operational procedures, and key safety guidelines. Only through consistent, dedicated learning can we foster innovation while maintaining safe operations. We believe that this fresh influx of talent will undoubtedly bring us even greater energy and momentum!
