Hangzhou Eternal Battery Co., Ltd. was founded in 1969 and is a manufacturing enterprise with a history of 56 years. It is located in Hengxi Industrial Park on the south bank of the Fuchun River in Fuyang District, Hangzhou City. With an area of 150,000 square meters, it is a large modern enterprise specializing in R&D, production, and marketing of various kinds of dry batteries. It has total assets of over 2 billion yuan and more than 1,100 employees, including over 110 professionals in electrochemical technology. It owns 59 production lines which can produce 6 billion pieces of R20, R6, R03 batteries with “999" and“Huahong" brand by annual.

Hangzhou Eternal Battery Co., Ltd. is the official supplier for the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games and the 999/Huahong Battery is the official designated household dry battery. At the same time, it is a regular member unit of the China Battery Association and a member of the China Standardization Technical Committee for Primary Batteries. It has been awarded the title of "Top Ten Industrial Outstanding Enterprises" by the Fuyang District Committee and Government for five consecutive years and has been recognized as an outstanding case of "Common Prosperity Workshops" in Hangzhou.

The company joined the National Primary Battery Standardization Technical Committee of China in 2015, and participated in the revision of GB/T8897.1, GB/T8897.2 and GB/T8897.5 in the same year. In 2020, it participated in the revision of the mandatory national standard "Limitation Requirements for Mercury, Cadmium and Lead Contents in Zinc Negative Electrode Primary Batteries" (20190073-Q-339). In 2023, it participated in the revision of the international standard IEC 62281 "Safety Requirements for Lithium Batteries and Storage Batteries during Transportation". In 2024, it participated in the formulation of industry standards QB/T 2303-2024 "Pulp Layer Paper for Primary Batteries", national standard GB/T 8897.6 "Primary Batteries - Part 6: Environmental Guidelines", and general technical requirements for apartment and hotel smart door locks (T/TJCA 0011-2024). In 2019, it obtained a Chinese utility model patent for explosion-proof primary batteries without mercury (patent number: ZL 2018 2 2221298.5). In 2020, it obtained a Chinese invention patent for a paste-type mercury-free battery slurry and its preparation method(patent number: ZL 2018 1 1504048.0). It also obtained a Chinese invention patent for a mercury-free high-power zinc-manganese battery, its cell powder, zinc cylinder, and mercury-free pulp layer paper (patent number: ZL 2018 1 1504061.6). In 2024, it obtained a mercury-free, lead-free, and cadmium-free zinc-manganese battery and its manufacturing method (patent number: ZL 2022 1 0322577.9).

In September 2020, the company was recognized as a member of the first batch of "Zhejiang Provincial Technology-Based Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises" in Hangzhou, and its Technology Center was accredited as a "Hangzhou Enterprise Technology Center".In 2023, it was awarded the titles of "Zhejiang Provincial Specialized, Refined, Peculiar and Innovative Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise" and "Hangzhou Green and Low-Carbon Factory".In 2024, the company was named a "Hangzhou Model Unit for the Construction of Integrity-Oriented Private Enterprises" and recognized as a "Hangzhou Enterprise High-Tech R&D Center".

The company has launched 15 online stores, including 11 official flagship stores and 4 factory/specialized/enterprise stores, covering 8 major platforms: Douyin, Taobao/Tmall, JD.com/JD Xi/JD Self-operated, Pinduoduo, WeChat Channels, Kuaishou, Xiaohongshu, and Shopee (cross-border). Additionally, it has established 3 live-streaming studios.

At present, the company has promoted its brand on 10 sets (groups) of high-speed rail trains across China, on 32 sets (groups) of conventional trains, in addition to placing full-page print media advertisements. It has also carried out advertising campaigns on 5 channels of China Central Television (CCTV-1/CCTV-2/CCTV-4/CCTV-10/CCTV-13), as well as on local TV stations such as Heilongjiang Satellite TV, Liaoning Satellite TV, Shanxi Satellite TV, Jilin City Channel, Hebei Satellite TV, Sichuan Satellite TV, Shaanxi Satellite TV, Hubei Satellite TV, Guangdong Satellite TV, Shandong Satellite TV, Henan Satellite TV, and Guangxi Satellite TV.

In December 2017, Xu Zengfu, Chairman of the company, was officially appointed as a member of China's Standardization Technical Committee for Primary Batteries.

In October 2019, he/she was appointed as a member of the 6th Zinc Salt Expert Group by the Inorganic Acid, Base, and Salt Professional Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society.

Appointed as a member of the Inorganic Chemicals Subtechnical Committee of the National Standardization Technical Committee in September 2020,

Elected as an Executive Director of the Board at the 8th National Congress of Members of the China Battery Industry Association on October 31, 2020.

In October 2020, I was proudly elected as Hangzhou's "Most Beautiful People's Congress Delegate."

Elected as the Chairman of the 6th Council of the Hangzhou Fuyang District Private (Non-state-owned) Enterprises Association in December 2020.

In April 2021, he was named a "Fuyang Craftsman" for the third time. In November 2021, he became an Executive Committee Member of the 11th Standing Committee of the Fuyang District Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce) in Hangzhou City.

Became a Hangzhou City Labor Model in April 2022.

On July 7, 2022, he/she was appointed Vice President of the "Fuyang District Model Workers and Craftsmen Association."

Became an Inorganic Chemical Engineer in August 2022.

Elected as a director of the 5th Council of the Zhejiang Provincial Private Enterprise Development Association in October 2022.

On November 11, 2022, he was appointed as the fourth president of the Chang'an Chamber of Commerce.
